Holding up the weight of my household takes more than two hands
— it’s taken my back, my hips, and my knees.
Endless demands of daily life press down on me, an invisible but undeniable burden that I carry every day. Responsibilities and bills pile up like bricks making you wonder if you can actually feel weightless again.
I stepped into a float tank for the first time in 2021, and for the first time in years, I was able let go.
The moment I lowered myself into the warm water, I felt something shift inside me. The Epsom salts made my body swim effortlessly. I didn’t have to work to stay afloat. I simply was. My muscles released a sigh I hadn’t even known they were holding.

Even now, when life takes my peace of mind, I can close my eyes and imagine how it felt floating, in complete stillness. The experience wasn’t just about physical relief, though my body felt more relaxed than it had in years. It was about remembering what it meant to be free, even if just for an hour.

Floating didn’t just take the pressure off my shoulders, it took the pressure off my soul.
When I stepped out of the tank, I felt like a new person.
The world outside was the same, but something inside me had changed. I knew that no matter how heavy life became, I had actually discovered a place where I could set everything down.
Floating in the Forest will forever have a special place in my heart.
