We’re in the paper!

We’re in ‘The Review’ today! (local Forest of Dean paper, for those who don’t know it)

The news is that our planning application has been received, and is being considered. Our potential venue is Harts Barn Craft Centre – sorry if you didn’t hear it from us first!  Nothing is guaranteed until we receive the outcome, which won’t be for a while yet. You can read the full article below. Exciting times!

Exerpt from The Review, about Float in the Forest planning application.

‘A craft centre could soon see people floating away from life’s cares in a therapeutic warm water tank.  A business called Float in the Forest has applied for planning permission to launch a floatation centre at Harts Barn Craft Centre in Longhope.  It aims to provide relaxing therapy in water heated to skin temperature and saturated with Epsom salts, making it dense enough for people to float.  The business says “Floatation provides complete buoyancy, which takes the pressure off the body and gives a feeling of weightlessness.”  It adds: “the unique selling point for Float in the Forest amongst other floatation centres will be its tranquil rural setting, which will extend and enhance the customer experience.”  The business wants to open 6 days a week, from 9am until 11pm.  Forest planners are expected to rule on the plan after the August summer break.’
