We really enjoyed this float story from Mark. We think it flows like a poem… see what you think…
Float
What is left of the world when I am alone but that which I carry with me,
what does it mean to be truly alone but to let go all those things of substance and change,
what form have I when naked and unclothed,
what is this light in which even darkness is revealed, that which has no name, I AM, presence, being, life.
A Float In the Forest can be a chance to truly rest,to get to know your self, to know what it is to be free,
not just from the weight of the body, but the weight of that which we may call the world,
to find the wealth in poverty, the fullness within, the light in the dark.
I felt welcomed and at ease as I entered the building,
the colour I chose was orange for the lighting, my room was clean, modern and relaxing.
As I laid in the Pod and pulled down the lid, I reached for the light to get a feel for where it was,
took a few deep breaths to relax, then pushed the button.
As I moved my hand from the wall, it could have been a million miles away, I no longer had a reference in space.
Thoughts, imaginations came and went, but none could show me what I came for, the truth and who am I,
so just as I had moved my hand I now released my attention from these things, and no longer had reference in time.
how deep is the darkness, how far shines the light, when letting go the walls of our own creation, with no beginning or end, I Am.
We spend so much money, time and effort on such transient things,
if one has any interest in meditation or simply touching upon an inherent peace, which once seen may remain,
then I would certainly recommend a Float in the Forest to anyone.
