Float in the Forest location update
Lots of you lovely people have reached out to ask where our float centre is, and have wanted to book… which is fantastic!
Sorry that we have not been able to give a clear answer on our location. We thought we would let you in on what’s been going on, as understand that uncertainty can be frustrating, and we are very keen to get you floating!
We have been busy looking at venues in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley, for Float in the Forest. It has proved trickier than we thought, to find the right place. We’ve spoken to lots of people, looked at many options online, and been to visit about 8 potential venues in person.
Some places would have pushed the prices up too high. Some places would not have been peaceful enough. We think you’ll appreciate our pickiness on your behalf, as we want to ensure the best possible floatation experience for you at Float in the Forest.
We have got a few good options who we are in discussions with, and we are investigating thoroughly at the moment.
However we are still open to ideas, if anyone knows somewhere potentially suitable. Our criteria are as follows:
- It needs to be an existing building, with a minimum of 1000 square feet.
- There’s got to be water, drainage and electricity.
- Good access by vehicle, and parking.
- Of course it needs to be relatively quiet, and in a natural setting.
If you know the perfect place, please do get in touch with us.
Rest assured we are working as hard as we can to get your floatation centre open as soon as possible, and we will update you again as soon as things progress.
Thank you for your patience!
