The post-float glow

We’re not going to tell you how you will feel after your float… you will have to find out for yourself!

However, we can talk about common experiences.

People generally feel very relaxed after they have floated. It is common for people to feel that their muscles and joints have released some tension, and that their minds have slowed down from the usual fast pace.

Many people also feel that their senses have been enhanced by the experience.

We’d like you to make the most of this feeling, as the post-float time can be almost as much a part of the experience as the float itself.

Plan things in advance so that you won’t have to rush off to another appointment, and can take your time.

Make the most of feeling relaxed in both body and mind.

Chill out in the lounge

At Float in the Forest there will be a post-float lounge, which will be an important part of the experience.

There will be comfy chairs to laze on or curl up in.  Local art on the walls for you to gaze at.  A choice of tasty teas for you to enjoy. Intriguing books on relevant topics for you to peruse if you wish.  Creative activities such as mindful colouring-in books available.  Have a chat if you’d like, or tuck yourself away for some peaceful sanctuary if you prefer – the choice is yours.

Forest bathing

When you feel ready to step out into the ‘real world’, don’t rush it. Allow the ripples of relaxation to spread out into your life.

You could make the most of our beautiful forest setting, and go for a walk among the trees. With your newly awakened senses, take in the colours, sounds and smells of the forest.
