THE FIT-OUT IS APPROACHING THE END
The majority of the fit-out has been done now… exciting times!
The plumbing, ventilation, carpentry and second fix electrics are all now finished.
FLOAT PODS ARE IN!
Undoubtedly the most exciting event of the last couple of weeks was the installation of our two wonderful float pods.
They are large and heavy, so carrying them into the float centre was no mean feat, though this is where our long venue hunt and careful planning paid off. A great big thank you to everyone who helped.
We then got the pods into action with 550kg of Epsom salt in each pod, gradually dissolved and heated in 1000 litres of water.
THE FINAL STRETCH
And so now we are on the final stretch to opening.
We’ve now got the finishing touches to do: quite a lot more painting, the flooring, and all the other bits and pieces to pull together.
